Recently, CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure) and the Tsinghua University Library jointly released the 2025 China Academic Journals International Citation Report. Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s academic journals have achieved outstanding results, with 13 journals selected for the “China’s Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals” and “China’s Outstanding Internationally Influential Academic Journals” lists, covering a wide range of disciplines including natural sciences, engineering and technology, medicine, and humanities and social sciences. This remarkable performance demonstrates the significant strength of Shanghai Jiao Tong University in promoting the international dissemination of academic achievements and enhancing its global academic influence.

The inclusion of 13 journals reflects SJTU’s long-term commitment to academic journal development, support for high-quality English-language journals, and efforts to internationalize Chinese-language journals. Moving forward, the SJTU Journal Center will continue to provide dedicated support to advance the high-quality, international development of SJTU’s journals, cultivate more globally influential academic brands, contribute to the construction of SJTU’s “Double First-Class” initiative, and help build a world-class academic journal system with Chinese characteristics.
